UGC NET 2023 Registration can be taken up

UGC NET 2023 registration can be done at the official website of National Testing Agency. It is also known as NTA and is an organization under the Government of India that conducts various competitive exams for higher education.

Students who wish to pursue higher education in various institutions of great repute can focus on exams conducted by this agency. It is interesting to note that UGC NET 2023 will be conducted two times a year-June and in December. The application submission begins at the appropriate time.

Individuals who wish to pursue research (Ph.D., Junior Research Fellowship, JRF) or apply for the post of assistant professor in various colleges located across India can apply for the exam. The process to apply is online and candidates can visit the website of NTA for UGC NET 2023 to submit applications.

Eligibility for UGC NET 2023

Individuals who wish to apply for UGC JRF 2023 must have passed post-graduation in their respective disciplines from a recognized educational institution located anywhere in India. Students who are appearing for the final year exams of their qualifying degree or who have appeared and are waiting for the results can also apply.

However, students who have appeared or are about to appear for the exams must pass them and provide proof for it by the time further process for admission or recruitment commences. Clarifications can be obtained from the official website of the exam.

How to apply?

The process to apply for UGC NET 2023 is online and the official website to submit applications is ‘https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/’

Candidates can click the above URL on the browsers of the computer and allow the website to download. Soon after the website downloads, the link for the registration can be clicked to undertake registration to obtain an account comprising a username and password.

Once the account is created, applicants can log in and fill out the form for UGC NET 2023 and pay the registration fee. Post payment of the fee, the application form can be submitted. Once the application is submitted, candidates have to wait for a message indicating successful submission. After the message is obtained, candidates can download it and the printout of the same has to be taken and preserved for future use.

Important dates and the exam

Application forms for UGC NET 2023 can be submitted from 29 December 2022 onwards till January 17, 2023. UGC NET 2023 will be conducted from February 21 to March 10, 2023. The test will be conducted in computer-based mode and has two papers.

Both papers will have questions related to the subject the candidate has studied in post-graduation. The format of the questions in UGC NET 2023 is multiple choice where each question has more than one reply and the correct one among that has to be chosen to score marks. The medium of the exam is Hindi or English.
