TANCET 2023: Exam date is postponed

TANCET 2023 exam date has been postponed and the new date will be announced soon. Students aiming for postgraduate admission into courses MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, MArch and MPlan in various colleges in Tamil Nadu have to prepare for TANCET 2023.

The test is held once a year and is known as Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), TANCET 2023 is meant to be conducted for next year. Sources say, the earlier decided dates for TANCET 2023 was 25 and 26 February 2023.

Now the exam will be conducted on some other date and information regarding the new date and timing will be made available on the official website of test ‘http://tancet.annauniv.edu/’ at the appropriate time. The announcement about the date and schedule is expected to be made by last week of December 2022.

How to apply?
The process to apply for TANCET is online and individuals have to visit the official website ‘http://tancet.annauniv.edu/’ to submit applications. Candidates have to visit the website for TANCET 2023 through the above mentioned url.

Post download of the webpage, candidates have to click the link for registration and create an account comprising username and password. Post account creation, students can login and fill the application form for TANCET 2023.

Post filling the form, registration fee has to be paid and the application form has to be submitted. Post submission, candidates can wait for the message indicating successful submission, once the message is obtained, it can be downloaded and printout can be taken and preserved for future use.

Eligibility to apply for TANCET 2023

Candidates have to pass graduation in the relevant discipline from a recognized educational institution to apply for TANCET. For example, students willing to join MArch have to pass BArch from a recognized educational institution.

More about the test

Anna University will be conducting the exam which will be held in offline mode as a pen and paper test. The duration to answer questions will be two hours, subjects for questions in TANCET would depend on the subject for which the candidate is seeking admission.
