NEET 2021 UG: Know your great examination city

NEET 2021 UG will be conducted on September 12 and focus is now on the admit cards for the exam.

Students who have applied for NEET 2021 UG will be able to know the exam city allotted to them from August 20.

All the NEET 2021 UG applicants have to do is visit the official website of the exam at ‘https://neet.nta.nic.in/’

A new webpage would with url ‘https://admissions.nic.in/admit/neetadmitcard/DownloadAdmitCard/AuthCandneet.aspx’ downloads, applicants  of NEET UG 2021 would find two links titled ‘View Advance Information for Allotment of Center City’

NEET UG 2021 can click anyone of these two links and enter their application number, date of birth and type the security code shown below and submit the details.

Soon after submission of above details, applicants will be able to view the exam city allotted to them on the computer screen. They can take a printout of the same.

NEET 2021 UG applicants will also be able to view the exam city and center allotted to them even on their admit cards also.

The big question in everyone’s mind is when will the admit cards for the popular exam be released.

The usual procedure is to make the hall tickets available for download couple of days before the commencement of the test.

This time too, the same thing would happen with regards to NEET 2021 UG.

As per the information bulletin, admit cards for NEET 2021 UG exam will be made available for download about three days before the exam date which is September 12.

This means, the admit card for NEET 2021 UG is likely to be available for download either on 8 or 9 September.

How to download
The hall ticket will be available for download on the official websites of the exam ‘www.nta.ac.in’ and ‘https://neet.nta.nic.in/’

They can click any one of the above mentioned links and wait for the webpage to download.

Post download of the webpage, applicants have to click the link for downloading hall ticket and enter the username and password and submit to obtain to view the admit card.

Once the admit card for NEET 2021 UG exam is visible on the computer screen, the applicants can download it.

Before download
Once the hall ticket is visible on the screen, applicants must check for the errors on them with regards to their name, date of birth, residential address, exam centre and others.

If there are any errors with regards to the above mentioned information, the applicants have to take it to the notice of authorities concerned for rectification.

In case of no mistakes on the admit card, applicants can go ahead with taking a printout of it.

Exam cities
It is interesting to note that the number of cities where exam will be conducted has been increased to 198 from 155.

This is being done to ensure social distancing norms can be followed while appearing for NEET 2021 UG exam.

The social distancing norms are being followed taking into view the COVID-19 situation.
Sources further say, the number of exam centres for NEET UG 2021 exam will also be increased.

Background
This year proved no different with regards to NEET 2021 UG exam in comparison with what happened the previous year.

Education sector witnessed much disruption during 2020 where various activities on the academic front could not take place as per the decided schedules.

NEET UG 2020 stood no different. The same situation ruled the roost when it came to academic sector in 2021.

NEET 2021 UG could not be conducted as per the earlier decided date. Now the new date for the exam is fixed on September 12.
