Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute to organise Yukthi2020

Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute – Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute will be the center of attraction when the national symposium Yukthi 2020 will be organised on its premises on 21 February this year. The event will be held by Department of Financial Planning.

Sources from the educational institution say, the event is being conducted deriving inspiration from Yukthi 2K19 which was held last year and had been a successful one. About 300 students from various colleges took part in Yukthi of last year and won lot of prizes. This year they expect the same enthusiastic participation too.

The department has got the credit for conducting the national level symposium in the very first year of its inception. The idea of conducting the event is to create opportunities for the students to apply their creative ideas and enhance their management potential.

Host of competitions namely ‘Business Quiz,’ ‘Adzap,’ ‘Connections,’ ‘Logo designing,’ ‘Just a minute’ and ‘Corporate walk’ will be held as a part of the symposium. These will help students master various nuances like time management, decision making, exposing the attitude and personality, marketing tactics. These will help students better their management capabilities.

Business quiz is an event which gives emphasis on the inundation of the latest developments in the management and make the student participants to learn new things and experience in the particular field.

The purpose of conducting this event is to check the knowledge of the students. Questions related to management will be asked will be asked and based on the answers marks will be allocated.

Adzap is a competition which will test the participant’s ability to sell a product to the customer with innovative ideas through advertising. The purpose of the event is to bring the new ideas to be impart in advertising the team will be performed and based on the performed marks will be given.

Connections is an event where participants have to connect the pictures, images and bring out the correct name or sentence.Marks will be allotted on giving out the right answer. Logo Designing contest will test the creative ability of the students, they have to make use of the potential and design an attractive logo for a business.

Just a minute is a contest where participant will have a minute to speak his or her idea. They have to present their idea on the topic which will be given on the spot without any break within a minute. Corporate Walk is a competition which will test the confidence and attitude of the participant in an corporate atmosphere.
