Mckinsey stands top recruiter at IIM A

There is a good news at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. The developments regarding the placement at the prestigious institution are worth a praise. Sources say, McKinsey is said to have made the highest offers which stood at 27.

The final placement process at the famous management education institution began on 7 February. It is interesting to note that the placement at IIM-A are watched by many across the country, for this gives an idea as to how the employment trend is across all the business school.

The next big round of offers poured in from Boston Consulting Group. This company made about 23 offers. Finance firms offered roles in investment banking, private equity, venture capital and capital markets. Avendus made the highest number of offers which stood at 10, JP Morgan Chase and Co made eight offers. CK Birla Group made six offers. Colgate and Diageo were among the new recruiters.

Firms like Microsoft, Sprinklr and BrowserStack too had presence in the recent placement season. Tata Consultancy Services made 12 offers, FinIQ made 11 offers. It is interesting to note that details of salary packages will be release by the institute once the audited placement report is revealed in November 2020.

IIM Ahmedabad is said to follow cluster-cohort placement process wherein companies offering similar profiles are put into cohorts. Many cohorts are invited to the campus in a particular cluster.
