The first possibility came in form of 10th and 12th exams. These exams had to be held first, but coronavirus outbreak led to their postponement. Same was the case for JEE Main 2020 exam. This was also postponed.

These two exams will be conducted on later dates, which means their results will also be declared quite late. Since, it would not be possible to take part in Advanced until JEE Main results are declared, and JEE Main being conducted on a later date could have led to the JEE Advanced 2020 being postponed.

As per the earlier schedule, 1 May was the date for registration of Advanced to begin, the last date for the registration was 6 May and 7 May upto 5:00 pm was the last date to pay the fee. 17 May was the date of the exam.

Now this schedule has undergone a change. So the date of downloading the hall ticket has also undergone a change. The date to download admit card for Advanced was 12 to 17 May. Now this date will also be changed.

The new dates will be announced on the official website of the exam. The right time for visiting the website would perhaps be after the results for Main are declared.
