CUCET 2023: Register for the great test

CUCET 2023 registration is open now and applications can be submitted. Students seeking admission to Chandigarh University in Punjab must appear for this test. The application submission began in November of last year.

The full name of the test is Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test, an online exam conducted at the national level. It is interesting to note that Chandigarh University is accredited with the prestigious A+ grade by NAAC.

Who can apply for CUCET 2023

The eligibility criteria will depend upon the course the candidate wishes to apply to through CUCET 2023. Students seeking admission in graduate courses or postgraduate programs can apply for CUCET 2023.

Students aiming for undergraduate programs have to pass plus-two with 50% pass marks in the exam. Candidates who have passed graduation in the relevant discipline with 50% pass marks at the minimum can apply for postgraduate courses through CUCET 2023.

A pass in CUCET 2023 is required for those who are seeking admission in B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering), B.Pharmacy, Pharm D, Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology), Master of Pharmacy (Industrial Pharmacy), Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry), MBA, Integrated Law programs (B.A+LLB, BBA+LLB, BCom+LLB), and Integrated Law (LLM).

Students who have passed CUCET 2023 with good scores can move to the next phase of the admission process which may involve interviews or counselling and document verification.

How to apply

The process to apply for CUCET 2023 online can be done on the official website of Chandigarh University. The official website of the university can be reached at ‘http://cucet.cuchd.in’

The above-mentioned URL has to be typed into the browser and the website must be allowed to download. Post-download of the website, candidates have to enter their name, course of their choice, date of birth, and email id and register to create an account with username and password.

Post account creation, they can log in and start filling out the application form, pay the registration fees and then submit the form. Post submission, candidates have to wait for a message indicating successful submission. Once the message is obtained, applicants can take a printout of it.

Offline

Applications can be submitted offline also. Students can visit the university in person or any of its authorized centres of it to purchase application forms. The forms can be filled out and submitted.

After application submission

The date for appearing for CUCET 2023 has to be chosen while filling out the application form itself for admission. Students have to appear for the written test on the chosen date.

The exam will be conducted online and candidates can log in with their registered login details and then take part in the test. The result of the CUCET 2023 will be sent to the email of the candidates.

Dates

The application submission began on 28 November 2022 and the last date to submit the application form is 29 May 2023. The last date for taking CUCET 2023 exam in the first phase for admission is 30 May 2023.
