CEETA PG 2023: Apply for the great exam now

CEETA PG 2023 registration is open till 22 February and applications can be submitted. It is about admission into postgraduate courses in engineering, architecture, and planning in colleges located across Tamil Nadu.

Students who wish to join ME/MTech, MPlan or MArch courses in educational institutions in Tamil Nadu can apply for CEETA PG 2023 which is conducted by Anna University in Chennai.

The test is conducted for two hours in offline mode where candidates have to mark the answers on a separate answer sheet. CEETA PG 2023 registration is online and candidates have to visit the official website of the exam to submit applications.

The full name of the exam is Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions Post Graduate (CEETA PG). CEETA PG 2023 is meant to be conducted this year (2023). The entrance exam is being conducted for providing admission into earlier mentioned courses at University Departments, Constituent Colleges of Anna University, Annamalai University and Government Engineering Colleges only.

A limited number of monthly Scholarships offered by the Government of Tamil Nadu are available to the students as per merit and following the reservation norms to pursue higher studies. Self-Financing Engineering Colleges may also use CEETA PG 2023 score for their admission process.

Eligibility

Candidates who have passed graduation in the relevant discipline from a recognized educational institution in Tamil Nadu can apply for CEETA PG 2023. Example: Students who wish to apply for MTech through CEETA PG 2023 must have passed BTech.

Students who have appeared for their final year exams and are waiting for the results or students who are about to appear for the final year exams of their qualifying degree can also apply. However, these students have to pass their exams and provide proof of it by the time of admission.

How to apply

Candidates have to visit the official website of CEETA PG 2023 at ‘https://tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet/index.html’ The URL mentioned earlier has to be typed into the browser and the webpage must be allowed to download.

Once the webpage is downloaded, candidates can read the information about CEETA PG 2023 and then click the link for registration and create an account comprising username and password.

Post account creation, candidates can log in and fill the application form, pay the registration fees and then submit the application form. The registration fees is Rs 750 for candidates of SC/SCA/ST/ categories and is Rs 1500 for others.

Important Dates

Application submission for CEETA PG has begun on 1 February 2023 and last date to submit applications is 22 February 2023. The exam will be conducted on 26 March 2023. The date for downloading hall ticket for CEETA PG 2023 will be informed in due course. The result release is expected by April or May 2023.
