CBSE Exam 2020, there are lot of doubts in the minds of students with regards to it. Taking this into consideration, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) list which will answer doubts (queries) related to CBSE Exam 2020.

CBSE Exam 2020These are the questions that are commonly asked by students with regards to CBSE Exam 2020. Queries like when will the remaining exams be conducted? How will students be promoted to next academic session in the present scenario? Have been replied in this FAQ.

One of the FAQ was ‘I study 12th class and I appeared for Economics and Political Science already in my exam centre in North East Delhi. As per your notice, exams for these two subjects will be held again. Do I need to appear again in case of re-examination?

The reply from CBSE was ‘No, you need not appear in these examinations once again, if you have already appeared in them in the past. The re-exam is only for those few students who coould not attend them due to various valid reasons like law and order problems.’

Simple doubts (queries) like these arising in the minds of students and parents with regards to CBSE Exam 2020 have been answered through this FAQ. Bringing this kind of a thing is worth a praise in the present situation.

The recent times have not been offering positive vibes. The violent incidents rocked the entire nation with the national capital not being an exception with regards to CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act).

It was the turn of corona virus to create a problem after that. The entire nation went into a lock down because of that. Both these reasons led to postponement CBSE Exam 2020, for 10th and 12th standards.

CBSE Exam 2020 has come to a grinding halt. And, with uncertainty ruling the roost currently, it is quite natural for students and their parents to pose these questions. CBSE has attempted to clear the doubts in the minds.

Another question in the list was ‘Which schools need to follow the promotion guidelines for classes 1 to 8,9 and 11 issued by CBSE?’ The reply for the query was ‘Schools that need to follow these guidelines include, KendriayaVidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, State/UT government schools, private schools, schools affiliated to the Board located in India and abroad.’

Also another commonly asked question present in the list was ‘What is the promotion policy for Classes 1 to 8?’ The reply in the FAQ was ‘all students studying in classes 1 to 8 may be promoted to the next class/grade. This advisory was issued in consultation with NCERT.’

Anxiety and stress related to CBSE Exam 2020 are quite common now. There is a reason behind this, 10th and 12th are like foundation stones for future life of a student.

A pass in them determines what kind of higher education students are going to have, and when there is uncertainty with regards to these crucial exams, students undergoing anxiety is quite common.

Any measure to keep this stress away in the present circumstances is always welcome. Another doubt with regards to CBSE Exam 2020 was ‘Will the marks of the subjects in which re-exam will not be held be included in the mark sheet?’

The reply to this query with regards to CBSE Exam 2020 is ‘Yes, the Board is making provisions for this. It may be noted that the Board will conduct examinations for only main subjects that will be required for promotion and maybe crucial for admissions in higher educational institutions.

For the rest of the subjects, the Board will not hold examinations; the instructions for marking/assessment in all such cases shall be separately issued by the Board.’

There have been lot of rumours in the past also with regards to leakage of CBSE question papers through social media, fake videos have also been posted, say sources from CBSE.

The organisation has requested students not to fall prey to such false information, in case of doubt, students and parents can refer the official website of CBSE for clarifications.
